The story of this coffee is intertwined with the story of La Minita, which we offer a Costa Rican coffee from. La Minita does work all over central and south America, helping pull together high quality regional lots made up of many smallholder farms, and this coffee is a product of that work. The team at La Minita worked to develop the La Llama standard of quality with farmers from the Chanchamayo Valley in Peru.

Our roast of it is well-loved here at the roastery. This coffee has a light body, with lots of balanced chocolate notes, and does well with many brew methods.
